Welcome to the Financial section of our website. We take our role very seriously as we are the caretaker of dreams. Donors have placed their money with us and entrusted us to help make their dreams a reality. The dreams vary from educating young people, to caring for seniors; from preserving our heritage to revitalizing our communities; from searching for cures to diseases to caring for those stricken. Every dream is important so we build a port for your dreams.

ACCOUNTABILITY:  We are serious about accounting for every gift received and every gift given. We acknowledge all donations in accordance with IRS regulations and work with fund advisors and others to ensure every disbursement is authorized and compliant with the purpose of the fund.

PROPRIETY:  We work to ensure that only gifts that are charitable in nature are accepted and disbursements comply with regulatory guidelines in our effort to fulfill each dream.

OVERSIGHT:  Oversight is essential to ensuring the proper use of resources and ability to meet the dream. Monthly financial reports are sent to Finance/Investment Committee members. Quarterly reports detailing every gift and disbursement are sent to fund advisors. The Board and Finance/Investment Committee meet three times each year to hear the presentation of financial statements and investment results. We engage reputable auditors who have extensive experience in not-for-profit organizations to look over our processes and records and issue an independent report each year.

RELIABILITY:  We are proud of the fact that our annual audit reflects that no material misstatements were found in our accounting records.

TRANSPARENCY:  Long before it became the latest buzzword in Congress, we made our annual audit and tax return available to anyone who requested it. We now provide this online so you can view it at your leisure.
