The Garber Community Foundation was established in June of 2002 with a purpose to enhance the arts, education, and general quality of living in the Garber community.

Grants have been made to the Garber Community Improvement Association to help construct a larger and more user friendly Dinner-Theater for the Garber Community.  Volunteer actors provide western melodramas and have been performing eight times for each production to accommodate the approximately 500 patrons who reserve seats.  The new facilities will feed and entertain 600 with only six performances.  The Garber Community Foundation's efforts were mentioned in an article in the New York Times on December 10, 2006.
