PAYNE FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

The Payne Family roots run deep in Woods County and while several family members have ventured far from the family farm, their respect for the education and experiences in Waynoka will continue for generations to come through the Payne Family Scholarship.

Eligibility

Graduating senior of Waynoka High School

Must attend an Oklahoma state supported college/ university offering a 4-year curriculum

Must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.5 and/or ACT score of 21

Must demonstrate leadership potential and involvement in school and extracurricular activities

Priority given to applicants whose family income is between $12,000 and $50,000 and those who have not amassed a large amount of scholarship/grant awards

Award

Amount - varies; depending on annual distribution; one-time award

Scholarship may fund tuition and related fees, and books and required materials
