About CFO: Oklahoma's Community Foundation
Supporting the philanthropic needs of Oklahoma’s rural communities was the motivation for Tom McCasland, Jr.
In 1992 he had the vision to create Communities Foundation of Oklahoma (CFO). In 1999, Oklahoma banker Gene Rainbolt joined McCasland in expanding CFO’s original concept to provide philanthropic and investment services to rural communities across Oklahoma.
The members of CFO’s governing board of trustees and advisory board of governors hold decades of business, government, nonprofit and volunteer experience. These distinguished community leaders work with the staff from Foundation Management, Inc., which manages CFO’s day-to-day operations, to foster a positive and supportive environment for the funds and foundations that rely on CFO for guidance and support.
