These funds serve to aid communities as they seek to rebuild after disasters

Communities Foundation of Oklahoma is focused on the well-being and safety of the communities in which our donors live. Disaster knows no geographic limits and can devastate towns and cities without any warning. CFO, along with the rest of the world, has been watching the unprecedented series of events unfold with the spread of COVID-19.  While Oklahoma has experienced low infection rates to date, our economy and communities will be impacted and needs will emerge resulting from school closures, business layoffs and unprecedented reliance on our healthcare community.

The Disaster Relief Funds will deploy resources to community-based organizations on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak and related community needs in your community.  Donations will be used to provide support for organizations including nonprofit regional health organizations, government entities, nonprofit organizations, churches and schools that work with people and communities affected by the current disaster.

You may donate to your community directly through the button below. If you search and don’t see your community listed, please reach out to Teresa Rose Crook to discuss establishing a new fund to support your community. Additionally, if you would like to donate to the “General COVID-19 Disaster Relief Fund” to support unmet needs throughout Oklahoma, you have that option as well. Lastly, if you’d like to donate funds through an existing Donor Advised Fund, please use the donor portal to enact that transaction.

Thank you for your continued generosity and please let us know if you have any questions throughout this process.
