- Must be in the process of completing an Associate’s Degree at Tulsa Community College with an emphasis on engineering. Applicants must be transferring to pursue an engineering degree from any accredited 4-year college.
- Must have a minimum 2.8 college cumulative GPA.
- Must have completed at least two calculus courses and one engineering course at TCC.
- Must have completed at least 47 hours of college coursework.
- Financial need to be given strong consideration. An essay regarding financial need should be prepared by the student and submitted as part of the application.
- A student will not be eligible for the scholarship if the Estimated Family Contribution (EFC), as calculated by FAFSA, is greater than $28,000
- The scholarship is renewable with 2.8 Semester GPA, full-time enrollment and continued enrollment in courses indicating the student’s selected major is engineering.
Restrictions and Guidelines
- Must provide Communities Foundation of Oklahoma with proof of enrollment, an official transcript of grades, and progress report each semester.
- Up to $18,000 based upon a maximum of $3,000 a semester for up to six semesters. The funds will be paid directly to the college or university.
- Payments may be applied to undergraduate and graduate degrees.
